A spritely bird which is particularly active, doing well with a bit more space than other breeds. Despite her relatively small size she is a prolific layer of pure white eggs.

A good solid bird which is based on a Silver Sussex. She has a good temperament and lays pale brown eggs. A black bird with varying amounts of silver plumage running through the neck.

Amber

The Amber is created by producing the opposite cross to the Mendlesham Ranger, hence a white bird with some brown in her plumage. She is a very calm and friendly bird, lays lots of lovely brown eggs and makes an excellent first time keepers bird.

Based on the Black Copper Maran, this bird has been developed as a dark brown egg layer, she usually has grey legs and a bit of copper feathering around the neck.

A Rhode Island Red Hybrid which is a fantastic layer of good mid brown eggs. A solid bird which would fit into most flocks. There is a dark and a light brown version.

A good all round bird based on the Rhode Island Red and Barred Plymouth Rock. The feathers have a glossy sheen to them looking more green and blue than black.

This hen ranges in colour from white to mushroom, with a few being brown too. She lays blue/green/olive shelled eggs and is a good forager. They don't come up very often, but are a good choice.

Japanese Bantams

A very upright bird with a tail which almost touches it's head. Very short legged, with dropped wings. This is one of the smallest Bantams available and can thrive in relatively small spaces.
Belgian Bantams

Being a true Bantam this is another small bird, they come in many colours and two main versions: The Belgian D'Anver (clean legged) and the Belgian D'Uccles (feather legged with muffs and beard) We have the Porcelain colour available.

Lots of Bantams to choose from. Bantams are smaller chickens which need a little less space and can become very friendly. Polish and Padovana's have large crests, Wyandottes and Brahma Bantams do not.
